Itinerary
Arrive at the airport and transfer to Sigiriya (3-4 hours’ drive). Check into Fresco Water Villa. In the late afternoon, enjoy a safari Jeep tour at Minneriya National Park with a naturalist. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit Sigiriya Lion’s Rock early to avoid crowds and heat (bring a hat and sunglasses). Explore this UNESCO site, known for its engineering marvels and frescoes. In the evening, head to Kandy to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a sacred 16th-century site. Stay at Oakray Regency Hotel Kandy. Dinner and overnight.
Travel to Ella, a region rich in biodiversity with cloud forests and tea plantations. Visit highlights like waterfalls, Adam’s Peak, and the Nine Arch Bridge, enjoying Ella’s cooler climate and stunning views. Stay at Oakray Ella Gap Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
